Your support will enable us to make a difference by providing a range of supplies, from personal care to employment training opportunities.
What We Do:
Friends of Long Creek (FOLC) is an all-volunteer, 501c3 organization founded in 1995 that collaborates with the Long Creek Youth Development Center staff, Juvenile Community Corrections Officers, and other non-profits to develop and fund projects that are critical to reducing criminogenic risk factors and reducing recidivism. Our projects provide access to higher education and employment training. They focus on promoting healthy relationships with family; pro-social relationships with peers and community; and positive attitudes, beliefs and values. They also provide enrichment, recreational and sporting opportunities.
Who We Are:
We are a committed group of volunteers that has been helping youth involved in the criminal justice system to lead better lives since 1995. We believe that these youth deserve a second chance and that if we reach out, we can provide the kind of practical and emotional supports that really make a difference. We rely on donations from people like you to meet our mission.
